The new wing of Golden Nuggett Hotel is beautiful .The bed was so comfortable,room quiet and view spectacular.We will not stay in another hotel when we return. My wife felt safe and comfortable playing thru the night by herself andthat says it all. Hotel has a good selection of restraunts and the evening entertainment in the street was fantastic.Hope to be back soon.went for our 31 st anniversary.

The hotel is very nice and clean, more elegant than I expected. The food in all the resturants was fantastic. I did not like the pool set up, it was just rows of chairs which you had to fight over and nothing to look at but other people. Also the pool is right in the middle of the hotel and when people check- in they look at the people in the pool area, not secluded by any means. And the pool is not made for swimming as it is only about 3 ft deep. Great downtown hotel but not my cup of tea for the pool setting.

This was my 1st trip alone and my 2nd time in Vegas, i received a lot of advice on were i should stay the strip or downtown, with the bedbug scare i was very concern about what choice i should make. Well i was so glad i choose the Golden Nuget it was clean the bed was confortable, the linen on the bed was soft. I ate at the resturants inside of the hotel and the food was great. I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND I CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN. I didn't get a chance to go to the pool but it looked beautiful and fun. phyllis

The recently renovated Golden Nugget has become our favorite place to stay in Las Vegas. It's on Fremont Street which makes it easy to walk to other casinos, restaraunts, and people watching. We didn't see any of the XXX rated handouts on Fremont Street, which is good news too. The rooms are nice and the pool has live sharks and a water slide that makes it a great place to hang during the afternoons and take a break from the casinos. We haven't tried the on-site restaraunts yet, but they smell great and diners look to be enjoying themselves.
