We stayed in Vegas for 3 days. The room (standard deluxe) was beautifully appointed and spacious. Easy and inexpensive bus ride from Freemont St to the Strip and Freemont St itself was a great experience. We stayed at the Golden Nugget more for "old Vegas" nostalgia than anything else and were pleasantly surprised by the exceptionally high standard. Pool (with sharks) was an interesting novelty. The staff could not have been more helpful. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks GN!!

I have stayed at the Golden Nugget 3 times, and it has always been a great experience. It is not just the best hotel/casino downtown, but it ranks up there with any of the nice casinos on the strip. It is very luxurious and is very reasonably priced. It has a wonderful ambiance, friendly staff, and a great location. Every single aspect of my stay at the Nugget was positive. I hope to stay at the Golden Nugget on my next Vegas getaway.

I absolutely love Vegas and have been there three times. The Golden Nugget was my favorite hotel as a whole but you really need to love downtown. I like the strip better so I will probably stay there next time. The Nuggets room was clean and staff friendly. I recommend this for the downtown folks. So much fun in the evenings!
