We enjoyed our stay. The first day I had wet hair because I couln't find the blow dryer (in the closet). . But the room was comfy. We love staying on Fremont St,,,, relaxing compared to the strip. Swimpool is amazing, heated in winter months.

We have stayed at numerous hotels on the Vegas Strip and this trip we decided to venture off the strip and stay at the Golden nugget in the Fremont District. I have to say this was an excellent choice on my part. The Golden Nugget gave us experience as to what Vegas use to be and should be like. They made us feel like they appreciated our business and enjoyed our company. I enjoy each morning orderining my room service coffee and unlike hotels on the strip it was delivered in a timely manner with a personal greeting. In the four days we stayed there we enjoyed 3 of our evening dinners there, not just out of convenience but because the food was well prepared and priced, I would highly recommend the Golden Nugget to my friends and will continue to stay there in the future

This was our first stay at the Golden Nugget. The room was clean and comfortable and roomy (we had one bed king size). Good sleeping. The rooms are a bit of a walk from the casino which we didn't mind - forced us to exercise a bit! Nice restaurants in casino.

The Golden Nugget was a great place to stay for our first time to Vegas! The rooms were not super fancy but nice, comfortable, and very clean. The casino was awesome and had lots of variety. We particularly loved the location as downtown (old vegas) is awesome! It was still very convenient to take the bus or taxi to the strip which we did several times. Overall we had a great vacation and will definitely be going again soon. Will probably always stay at the Golden Nugget and would even consider taking our children there!
