Nice room
02/07/2011We had a great time in las vegas and the room was clean and in good condition. nice big bathroom and the beds were comfy and the bedding was clean.

I recently stayed here while attending a trade show. Although this hotel is located in the "old Strip", there was plenty going on. It is immediately adjacent to the "Fremont Experience" which is part video show and part street performance - all outside the front doors of the hotel. The room was perfectly adequate, if a little dated. Nothing more or less than a good, comfortable room in a clean, friendly hotel. I had found this using the Secret Hotel option and was very happy with the results.

I stayed in the new Rush Tower for 5 days in February 2010 and loved it! The room was very new at that point, so I found nothing wrong with it (clean, updated, comfortable, etc.) I love the convenience of being on Fremont Street. The other casinos are just across the street and don't require a hike to get to. The buffet at the Nugget is one of my favorites in all of Las Vegas, especially if you can get a table overlooking the pool. If you are looking for a top quality hotel in downtown Vegas, this is what you are looking for!

We were traveling with a disabled person and there were 3 of us which meant we needed 2 beds, and had notified the hotel many times over emails to ensure a handicapped room. We were given one that was not accessible and then transferred to a one bed room where my husband had to sleep on the couch. this was not something that we wanted after a 9 hour flight. Management was not very helpful but I must admit the staff was. Will never book with them again.

Golden Nugget was a gem to stay at, the hotel was located in the heart of the Freemont Street Experience and which allowed for easy access to all the casinos in the area. The crowd is more mature and definitely less party-crazed than the strip. But this is not a bad thing, unless you are looking for drunk partygoers to annoy you. Oh, and a lot fewer 'working girls' than on the Strip. Good machines, good drinks, and good table game price levels. Some rooms are a bit dated when it comes to the decor, but still clean and comfortable. Would definitely prefer to stay here for a more relax-paced trip to Vegas.
