This was my first Vegas experience and the the Golden Nugget was a great first stay for me. It was very clean, up to date, and the staff was very friendly. I was also extremely impressed with how comfortable the beds were. I would most definitely stay at the Nugget again.

I had never heard of the Golden Nugget when I booked this hotel, nor had I ever been to the old strip. But someone told me they had a nice pool, and the price was right. That was enough to warrant a stay, but I found my stay to be a very pleasant surprise. The room was pretty standard, nothing terribly special, but who goes to Vegas to stay in their room? The pool was beyond belief. The pool encircled a shark tank, there was a water slide going through the tank, and there were gambling tables, hot tubs, and a bar by the pool. The casino had plenty of tables, and it was on a perfect spot on the old strip. I honestly couldn't have asked anything more considering the fantastic price.

Very fancy hotel, kinda brings out some old school feelings with update fun. The rooms are great and comfortable. Buffet food is the best for hangovers or just decent food. I gambled at most casinos so it's hard to say if the nugget is good. However I witnessed a couple win $10 grand on the monopoly slots.
