We have stayed at the Nugget everytime except once when visiting Vegas. The room is very good, although when in Vegas, we are not in the room that much anyway. We tried out several of the hotel restaurants and loved the three we choose, but especially found the Italian Restaurant the greatest with wonderful food and servers.

The Golden Nugget is the best place to stay for a downtown location. The pool was fun although slightly crowded and the casino was moderately active. Keep in mind the crowds downtown tend to be on the older side, but the city bus terminal is just a short walk and you can access any location on the strip for a small fee. The bus ride can be long and crowded so try to avoid rush hour and peak employee shift changes.

I have stayed at the Golden Nugget twice and have been more than satified both times. The staff are all very friendly and the hotel is clean and nicely decorated. I enjoyed the casino and the Gordie Brown show. Located at the heart of Freemont Street it is easy to get transportation if you wish to view the sights. I would highly reccomend this hotel.

There was plenty of things to do at this hotel with the pool, casino, restaurants to eat in that are very good, and how friendly the staff was. I never felt like anything was inconvenient to the staff. And the beds were to die for! I wanted to take it home with me! I would stay at this hotel again in a HEARTBEAT! Can't wait to come back to Vegas and The Golden Nugget!
