The price fit the range I was looking for, and left more than enough for craps. The superbowl venue was too crowded, so played blackjack instead. Room was easy to access and was peaceful. Nice place to relax for a while with quiet.

The Golden Nugget is probably the best hotel downtown. It is in a great location, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. The only complaint is housekeeping left an empty Dorito bag on the floor by the window (which wasn't ours). This bag was there when we checked in. We finally threw it away ourselves after 3 days. Other than that our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again when we visit Las Vegas.

Stayed here versus a strip hotel and couldn't have made a better choice. We had a car so location wasn't a problem. Room was great, was a corner so it seemed huge. Our pools were open and heated, adult only pool was so cool...Awesome pool area. Noticed alot of other hotels pools not open in Feb. Ate at 3 of the restaurants and all were very good. We stayed during the week so crowds and parking were not a problem. Golden Nugget did not charge a resort fee which most strip hotels are doing now(ripoff!!) I would definitely stay here again and again.
