The Golden Nugget is located on the old strip but don't let that detere you this hotel is very nice and resonably priced. During the week the breakfast buffet can't be beat. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and unbeatable if you like staying on this side of town as I do.

We got to check in before 3pm,which was great since we been travelling really early that day.Hotel staff was polite when ever we bumped into them.The buffet was great.H2-area is pretty cool.Fremont St Experience-wow.We enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location and the whole Fremont experience. It was clean and well maintained. Staff was great. We will come back. Although next time I will bring my own coffee pot. Coffee hard to locate in morning and ended up paying $2.50 for a single cup at the bar.

We have stayed at the Nugget before and still found it to be the nicest hotel in the downtown area. Very clean and high end. The pool area is outstanding. We booked an economy room and got exactly what we paid for. It was adaquate but not memorable. The biggest complaint was that the room was miles away from the main lobby and Freemont entrance. Next time I would check on my room location before booking.
