We had a late flight into Las Vegas which is normal from looking at all the folks at the airport. On arrival at the Golden Nugget, when checking in we were told that we did not have our room that we had reserved. We had reserved a room with king bed and non smoking. We were told that they only had a smoking room with a king bed. We could take a room with a double beds non smoking and would be contacted about changing rooms the next day. I gave my cell number and was looking for a call. Well the next morning at breakfast we were talking with others who had made the trip for our friends wedding, who had flown in later than us. They had no problems getting non smoking rooms with king bed. They were actually moved to other towers in the hotel to accommodate their reservations. I was very disappointed to hear this. That may be my first and last time to stay at the Golden Nugget.

Nothing to say except...EXCELLENT...great staff...great room....slept SO good...Beds are VERY comfortable...The casino could have let me win a bit, but.....:)...no worries...enjoyed our stay and will be the only place I stay from now on. NEVER enjoyed staying on the strip. And now we know we can buy a pass on the bus system and get to everywhere we want to go on the strip....TY Golden Nugget for a nice relaxing vacation..

The best in the downtown on Fremont Street. Large with many rooms, many restaurants, many amenities, and a huge casino. Most rooms are well off Fremont, making them quiet. Great bed. Cons: Great pool, but good luck getting a chair: 1900 rooms, 400? chairs. Have to be a VIP to get non-smoking room with bed selection, but they still charge you print out a boarding pass? C'mon, GN, any Holiday Inn Express will do that gratis.

From my check in to check out the only people that were nice was the servers at breakfast buffet. The bartenders were mean and talking in spanish . They were making fun of people at the bar and people walking by. I understand joking amoung your fellow emplyees but more and more people understand spanish now and I think it is veryy rude that they can do that. The elderly lady next to me said she had to leave because it was annoying her so bad I am so glad she did not understand how they were calling her cheap and too much make up,Me personally I will never stay there again? The employees at the flamingo are so much nicer and pleasant. I stayed for foulr days and never felt welcome. You at the golden nuggett need to address these problems

The best place to stay while in Vegas. The staff is friendly and very helpful and they make you feel welcome every time you walk into the hotel. The rooms are clean and the pool is excellent. It is the most beautiful hotel in Vegas even the hotels on the strip cannot compare to the Golden Nugget. Fremont Street is as they as and "experience" and the people are friendly and it is the best place to hang out and party!!
