The restaurant food was excellent. They were open and available when needed. Garage parking was easy in and out. The staff welcomed us in and responded when needed. Being on Fremont with its overhead shows and all the activities was great. My wife and I will schedule the Golden Nuggett for the next trip.

I would stay at the Golden Nugget again but it would be nice if they had coffee in the rooms that I didn't have to pay for. I also could have used a little more shampoo and soap. I suppose I could have asked for more.

Our only problem with our room really was the fact that when you opened the blinds you saw a concrete wall less than probably 6 feet from the window. We had purchased room upgrades to the Gold Tower Key club rooms and were told that all the rooms have excellent views, well 1625 does NOT have the advertised views. That was the only thing, so if you are checking in and are told you are in the Gold Tower room 1625 ask for a change unless you like looking at a wall and like hearing the elevators go up and down the shaft all the time because the room is right next to the eleators on the same wall as one set as well.

The hotel/casino employees are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well kept and up to date with their ammenities. The casino offers many options for entertainment. The pool is very nice and accomodating. We have enjoyed staying at the Golden Nugget for many years.
