The nuge havget is a great place to vist, this time we took our 6 year old son for the awsome pool they. not a bad place if you stay a couple of night for the pool. the smoke in the place seems to get pretty bad at night and waited a little extra to be seatted at the buffet, we had a group of 4. the coupon book was very helpful in saving some money and loved that it was right on freemont. Its not like the bigger hotels where you have to do alot of walking

Vegas is one of the few places were you can still smoke and that is quite obvious at the Golden Nugget. The hotel is older which means it is smaller and less ventilated. There was no excape from the chain smoking, pool, restaurant, hallways, elevator, casino, bathrooms etc...... It was horrible!

Vic & Anthoney,s restaurant was superb! The staff made us feel like they wanted to serve us, not that they had to. The front desk checking in and out had us waiting less than ten min. I had wished that the slot machines were a little looser! Overall, we will return.

Our room was very clean and recently remodeled. The mattress was a Serta and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was amazing, but extremely crowded. The location is great. I had never stayed downtown before, but I would prefer to stay down there next time I go. You can't ask for a better deal in Vegas in my opinion.
