We stayed at the Golden Nugget Jan 10 - 15. Besides the weather being REALLY cold, the hotel was great, service was great, and the room was nice. Great price too. We would come back any time. Love being downtown. Bartenders were friendly and generous - you can't go wrong. No free interent though, we went to Mickie Finnz down the road for great food and internet service, highly recommend this place too.

We're from Oklahoma and have been to Vegas several times, but this was our first on Fremont street. We will never stay anywhere BUT the Golden Nugget from now on. LOVED IT! Very clean, quiet, good location. Only negative for us was no wifi ://

My daughter and myself felt very safe and comfortable in this hotel. I was a little shocked at the number of homeless people once you stepped outside into reality but that's something we have to accept in this world today The Nugget is the place to go....everything in walking distance. Very nice

We were here the week before christmas and the noise from fremont street is VERY loud even though we opted for the highest price room on travelocity (the Jr. suite, which by the way does not have a fridge) we then upgraded again to a spa suite for 100 dollars more per night after we asked for a quieter location, nice digs but the noise will keep you awake. I wont be staying here again, I will book at the strip next visit
