Chateau LeMoyne is a Holiday Inn hotel. I think the real Holiday Inn is down in Royal st. The hotel's location is awesome. its one block from Bourbon st. If ever you need to rest, shower, drop shopping/grocery bags first you can do it. We arrived at the hotel early, around 1 pm and check-in time was 4pm. The guy in the front desk wasnt too welcoming but he was helpful. He let us leave the bag while we got something to eat. We walked around to kill time but by 3 pm we needed to go back and rest. Fortunately they gave us our room. It was a nice room but there was a funny smell (it was bearable) they ""forgot"" our complimentary toothpaste, toothbrush, and shampoo. wifi internet was not super fast and you only get 1 free day. there is also a heated pool and the neighborhood was safe. It also helped that there were cops at every corner (we were there few days before new year and the sugar bowl). there;s also a heated pool. f there's a party of loud frat boys you can definitely hear t. but not alot of people did any swimming there's parking but its very expensive. and almost every car parked on the street had a ticket. Anyway, we were really out most of the day and just used the room to shower and sleep. and with all the partying there is not much seeping going on.

This was my 2nd stay at this property. It is very basic, no frills. I highly reccommend it if you are the type that is just going to New Orleans to party and be a tourist. Convienently located just one block from Bourbon Street and 2 blocks from Canal Street. The rooms are as basic as they come. The only downfall was the old toilet in the bathroom. It was wobbley!! Oh, and poor security. One night my key card wouldn't work and the desk clerk only asked for my last name, no photo I.D.!

I stayed in alot of hotels, but this one ranks way up there. Exellent location. Very smooth check in by curtious desk help, had to stay in smoking room. but that was the ONLY not so pleasant drawback to the whole trip. Staff so helpful it just made the stay that much better.

Just make sure to ask for a room NOT adjacent to elevator shaft, as it is quite noisy.
Super Clean, great location, and having a pool in the heat of August was awesome!
