We stayed at the Doubletree Hotel at Times Square for a long weekend with 3 other couples. Between the 8 of us we shared 2 suites which worked out perfectly. The staff was just excellent helping us in any way they could. The location was perfect to get to everything by walking or a short subway ride. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, our room was not ready at check-in. By 5:30 p.m., I was a little anxious to shower and get ready for our evening dinner reservations. The front desk was more than apologetic and gave us the Presidential Suite to stay in that evening. We did change rooms the next day, however, the staff made that wicked easy. All in all, from the moment we arrived at the Doubletree until we departed we had wonderful service. I will definitely be back.

The Doubletree in Times Square is an excellent value and I have nothing but good things to say about our stay there. The staff was attentive and polite. They all had a can-do attitude. The room far exceeded our expectations, as it was not only spacious but near new. The only negative about the hotel for us was the original reason we booked it, it's location. We found being in Times Square a bit overwhelming...and we are not new visitors to the city. So, stay here is you want to be in the heart of everything and particularly if you want to see a few shows. Stay somewhere else is you want it to be quiet and peaceful.

Nice enough hotel, friendly staff, etc. This hotel appears to cater to people going to Broadway shows, as it sits square in the middle of the show scene. If you are going to NYC for something other than a show, you may be put off with all the 13yr old girls and their parents going to CATS for the first time. Other than that, the hotel was great!

We stayed here with our 2 children-age 8 and 10- they slept on the pull out sofa which seemed rather hard but worth it to get the 2 rooms. We paid extra to get the higher premium view suite with the King bed--it was worth it! Great views from both rooms and quiet--we did not hear any street noise. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the location was excellent! The staff was very friendly and helpful-- warm cookies at check in and valet parking. We could walk everywhere---We cant wait to go back!
