We had a suite - which I'm assuming is the whole hotel. It included a separate bedroom from a living room with a pull-out sofa sleeper and a couple chairs. There was also a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, sink - all in a separate area (like a bar). There was also a desk area. The bathroom was very large as well. I was very impressed with the space for NY! The pics on the website are pretty accurate. We traveled with myself, husband and my daughter, along with 2 very large suitcases and carry-ons. We had lots of room and were very comfortable. This was our 2nd time to NY. The 1st was just my husband and I and we stayed in a different hotel and the room was very small. So I was hesitant of what we would discover with this one. The only downfall would be the location is right in Times Square, which can be kind of annoying when you step out of your hotel door during peak times. Some people might really like this. But it is actually nicer staying off on a side street (from experience). It's not too bad, once you field through the traffic to get to your destination or to the subway. Overall because of the space and price, we would stay again and deal with the traffic. Great deli around the corner from the hotel - on the same block that makes great breakfast sandwiches and of course bagels. And a few blocks west of the hotel on 7th Ave is Ray's Pizza - they have the best garlic rolls ever - dripping with olive oil!!! A must have, of course NY pizza also! P.S. Don't waste your money on the room service, too expensive - and with at least one deli on every corner, there is always good food just around the corner!

We recently stayed at the Doubletree Suites in New York City. My husband, myself and our 18 year old daughter went on 5 day pleasure trip. We actually had no idea what to expect but booked because it was significantly cheaper than other hotels. How "thrilled" we were with the overall stay. Everything was "perfect" from the doorman, to the check-in clerk, to the great two room suite, to the afternoon bartender. Location equals "CAN'T BE BEAT"!!!! I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to be right in the middle of all the fun and also pay a reasonable price.

My family and I loved this hotel! The location is perfect, it is beautiful, clean and so comfortable. All but one staff member were very nice and friendly. The service was great. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the view and the two flat screen tv's. The bathroom was large and very nice. The only complaints we had were that the children thought the sofa bed was uncomfortable and I wish we knew that the hotel offered a car service to and from the airport (would have saved money and time). Overall, we loved it and would love to come back.
