After reading some of the reviews and prioritizing what we were going to Hawaii for, we decided the difference in $$ was worth the little smaller room and less modern amenities, i.e., bathroom fixtures, etc. The staff at the Sheraton Princess were ALL very nice and welcoming! Yukari at the concierge desk was extremely sweet and helpful. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel room was very small and fell into the category of "shabby chic". There were three generations of faucets in the shower, the toilet sprayed water out of the basin every time that it was flushed and the room itself was on the forth floor, overlooking the garage and directly above the dumbster and delivery area. The noise of backing-up trucks went on all night. Breakfast was only avalable buffet- style, no a la carte. It featured a lot of Japanese foods and the bagels, bread, etc. were served in the plastic wrapper as you buy them in the store. Very tacky! The hotel lobby display of a gingerbread trip around the world was very well done.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms and amenities were clean, and the location was fantastic! We also found that the resort fee included parking, which was quite helpful the days we decided to get a rental car. It's not on the beach but only a block away (so you don't pay beach prices!) Would definitely recommend!

We have stayed at several hotels in Waikiki previously. This was our first time at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. We loved the location, the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. The only thing we were disappointed with was the lack of a table & chairs inside the room.

The staff is very friendly and service oriented. The decor is warm and inviting and represents the locale very well. If there is any negative at all it would be that the restaurant is very expensive, especially for breakfast.
