  Short and to the point, we were given the wrong room type, the front desk was rude when we attempted to switch and refused to accommodate us. They finally found a room, magically, but the only day we could switch was our wedding day. I asked the hotel not to disturb my wife when she was getting ready, but they came to switch anyway, even after i cancelled the switch with 2 people! I spoke with Sheraton corporate and the opened a complaint file...which was closed by the hotel with no explanation. The wifi didn't work, but you had to pay for it. The sink in our room leaked, the bath tub didn't drain. The staff, short of about 3-4 people were rude. I will gladly never stay here again, and judging by the way Sheraton takes customer service I will gladly never stay at another Sheraton again.

  Our initial impression was not great. Areas of the hotel are a bit dated and the bathroom set up for our double room was my least favorite. Sink, toilet and shower all in one. When we travel it is nice to be able to shower and move out to a vanity area to finish getting ready and let the next person shower. As we checked in a little later we thought we would eat and let the kids swim. The buffet was expensive and only average. The pool closes as 6. Again...so far...not so good. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location to downtown Honolulu and Waikiki Beach was great. When we did take a bus to a luau it was about a half a block away to the bus . finally, the nicest teacher was we checked out early Monday morning but your flight wasn't until 930 at night. We went on to the beach and snorkeling but were able to go back to the hotel in use the hospitality room for 1 hour to shower freshen up and change at no charge. That left a very good lasting impression.

  Overall we had a nice stay. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, eager to please. The front desk gave us a couple extra drink coupons for our party of four, and the maid also gave us a couple extra waters for our kids during our stay. They even sent up a gift basket our first night which was a nice surprise. Our hotel room was a bit dated, particularly the bathroom, otherwise I would give it a higher rating, but it was always clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were hardly in our room anyway. We also got great deal on it. Though there is a daily resort fee, we made good use of it with the parking and the daily water bottles. We were not able to take much advantage of their water and fruit service at the beach which is so conveniently close, since we were out visiting family most the time, but it was nice to have when we did. They offer beach towels and chairs if you need them. We had a pleasant and relaxing time and would stay here again.

  This hotel was great! We booked a city view room and hoped it would be ok. When we checked in she said we had a city view room with 2 double beds. Not gonna lie...i was sad. We asked if they had anything available with a king. To our surprise, they upgraded us to a king,partial ocean view room...no extra charge! We were thrilled! When we walked into our room I was apprensive at first. It looked pretty outdated. Then we went to eat and when we returned there was a complimentary basket with juice,fruit and chocolate waiting for us. I quickly got over the fact that the room was outdated. Everything was super clean(whice is most important to me). Staff was very friendly and helpful! This was our third trip to Oahu and we stayed at a different place everytime. This was hands down our favorite! HIGHLY recommend!!!!! :)
