This hotel is in an ideal location
04/10/2011Hotel was nice but didn't have much to do for teens. great location. it's right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. staff was always friendly and courteous.

In a centrum of Waikiki, no need for a car. It costs extra for parking if you'll decide to rent one. Clean, comfortable rooms, option of dining on site. The best part is that you're going out of pool to the beach and ocean! Amazing views!

We've been going to the Sheraton Waikiki for a couple of decades now. The last few years has seen a lot of renovation which, unfortunately, causes some inconvenience in re-routing around the areas under renovation. The hotel's location, however, remains tops. It is right next to the new shops and restaurants on Lewers St, and a short block from the main thoroughfare, Kalakaua Ave. It has a gorgeous re-deisgned pool area and a children's pool, and is right on the beach. The casual dining restaurant is great for breakfast or lunch. The hotel also has many shops and eateries within the hotel itself. This is convenient for those times when you just don't want to go to places that require more walking or a drive.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. Completely open air, the trade winds blowing in all the time. It's got elegance from the white marble. The room was great. The bed was super comfy and so were the fluffy down pillows. It has great closet space but there wasn't any dresser though. The view from the beach front rooms was spectacular, I seriously recommend spending the extra bit. The hotel itself puts on all kinds of classes and shows through the course of the week. The restaurants and what not were a little high priced, but it seemed to be about average for the area. The outside gardens were very beautiful to stroll through. I ventured to both pools, the adult only and the family one with the hot tubs and they were both very well maintained and the wait staff was very attentive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone I know going to that area.
