This hotel is the perfect hotel to stay in Waikiki, it is in the heart of the city with a beautiful mall within walking distance. There are many shopping and dining choices you can walk to. The pool was beautiful and the beach access so easy. We brought our two children with us and we a wonderful stay. We did not eat in the hotel, the food in the hotel is over-priced but a few short steps away is a beautiful mall with many more reasonable dining choices. The hotel staff could not be nicer and the room was quiet. The beds so comfortable. You pay a $20 resort fee for this hotel, but it was well worth it that included the internet and parking. We had an ideal Hawaiin vacation at the Sheraton Waikiki. :)

The pools were excellent, very clean. Ninth floor housekeeping did a great job. Beds were very uncomfortable. Arts and crafts for kids and pool tables were good. The only down side to the 12 day stay we saw a couple bugs in the room.

It is in the heart of the island/beach. Great location. The infinity pool was amazing overlooking the beautiful beach. Seconds from the sand/beach. Updated nicely in some rooms. My only complaint is that I saw a bug (hopefully a waterbug) down stairs in the lobby early one morning; and the refresher/power room (used after check-out) had a tiny roach and was not kept. But, if those things are kept tidy, then the hotel was great! The RumFire restaurant was fantastic!!

The Sheraton Waikiki is a good place to stay in Honolulu. The rooms were great - quiet for a large hotel and very clean and comfortable. The parking is convenient and reasonable. We especially enjoyed the Rumfire restaurant - good food and service and great views from their outdoor seating! The "playground" pool was enjoyed by the two children that were part of our family. We were disappointed that the "infinity" pool closed so early! Unfortunately there is no beach directly in front of the hotel and the beach in front of the next door Royal Hawaiian was extremely crowded. Sad to say Waikiki Beach in general has seen better days - we preferred to travel to other locations on the island to enjoy the beaches. One issue that hotel management needs to address is the lack of front desk clerks at check out time in the morning - only two with a long line of guests!

This is my 2nd. time to the sheraton waikiki the first was back in 09 and they were under a complete renovation so we wanted to try it again, the new pools,lobby, shops and rooms were very nice and the location on the beach as well as the new mall in front of the hotel you really cannot ask for a better location with beautiful views of the ocean and the strip.
