we purchased a package deal with Travel online that came with a standard room. Requested an upgrade to the Imperial floors ($*/night more that includes higher room category, we were on the 23rd floor, East side of the hotel , unobstructed view to see, sunrise, city below,part of the bay/bridge, access to the Imperial Lounge that has a great daily continental breakfast including assorted pastries, fruits, yogurts, cereals, coffee, teas, orange juice replenished constantly and a wine/cheese reception daily with cheese/crackers and a variety of beers plus 2 different wines replenished constantly, access to the pool/fitness center, plus breakfast coupons for a more extensive breakfast menu, secured floors, and daily in room internet access as well as computer use in the lounge that has a big flat panel tv, newspapers, books. Great value and staff was outstanding thruout the hotel!

Hotel Nikko was fabulous! Great location, helpful staff, clean room. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable and the linens were superb. Fitness center was really nice. My only complaint is that the whirlpool in the pool area had very low jet power. I'm unclear whether that was the way it is or whether something was wrong but I've never been in a whirlpool with such low jet power.

Room was way smaller than expected. Majority of staff was rude and not friendly. Parking cost $53.00 a day which was a joke. I stayed only 2 full days and had to pay for 3 days for parking, which was $159.00. One of days, I left the room for the day and I seen a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the floor while the cleaning lady was preparing the room next door. Somebody put that sign on my door and my room was not cleaned, so when I got back to the room at midnight it was still durty with no clean towels towels.

The staff was very professional and the lobby was beautiful and the location was good. HOWEVER it was a very expensive room that was less than 10 feet wide (note to self: "petite queen" bed = double bed). We also had to pay $* per night for them to park our car about 20 feet from the front door

The staff at the Hotel Nikko was very friendly and accommodating. We were offered early check-in, at noon. We asked for a room with a view, so were not able to use the early check-in because there were no rooms like we wanted available at the time. A room was reserved for us. They took our luggage and had it in the room waiting for us by the time we checked in. Our room was a nice size and clean. The look to the hotel is modern and somewhat minimalist in decor, which we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the Powell BART station. You can save money on transportation by taking the BART to the hotel rather than a shuttle.
