We have stayed at Nikko before and just love this hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable; ours have always had great views. And, the hotel is in a great location for exploring the city, with many wonderful restaurants within a block or two. New Delhi on Ellis is highly recommended for fantastic Indian!

Great deal, terrible bed
02/16/2010I really enjoyed everything about this hotel except for: the bed and the $* fee for wireless internet... otherwise; ideal location, great staff and super clean.

Convenient to everything - shopping (they give you a 10% discount to Macy's), Biscuits & Blues, A.C.T., various breakfast spots. Nice gym (forgot my bathing suit, so I didn't check out the pool). Tiny rooms, but lovely beds & plasma TV. Rrazz Room has many great acts & outside lounge is relaxing. Beautifully furnished & nice touches - orchids, etc.

I have stayed here twice and here is the breakdown: excellent food, expensive parking (park in the structure diagonally across the street), lush beds, quiet, very quiet, which aside from the bed is all I care about. The rooms are smaller, but who cares, this is CA - you are supposed to be outside! Want a big room? Go to a Westin or something. Want a great hotel with room service that will blow away your favorite restarant - here you are. There are no "chipped vanities" or do not disturb signs on the room doors - they are digital, and are integrated with the doorbell, so beware bad reviews. The parking is the only real complaint here. The entire hotel is basically imported. The Mitsubishi elevators are the fastest, quietest and smoothest in the world.
