This hotel was recommended to me by a friend that had stayed here many times before and I cannot thank her enough! This was a vacation with our 11 year old granddaughter and we were not disappointed. The location is perfect for the sights and metro. All staff were very welcoming from the time we arrived until the time we left. Great food & staff in the Foggy Brewery. Cherrod was AWESOME! Thanks so much for making our stay so enjoyable. Also the lady that worked Concierge Desk on Saturday when we arrived was GREAT too!! Houskeeping staff very pleasant and welcoming too. Will be back for sure!!!

Although our Superior View room appeared to be a bit "worn" (rug), it was clean and comfortable. We had a great view over the Potomac River and enjoyed watching the sailboats and airplanes from our balcony each evening. Since we were walking, we found this hotel to be in an excellent location for National Mall access. It also had GREAT Metro rail access. We flew into Reagan National Airport (DCA) and rode the Metro to L'Enfant Plaza. This stop is beneath the hotel, so we did not need to walk outside with our luggage. This hotel is good for those who prefer to walk in Washington DC. Overall, we had a good experience. We would stay at L'Enfant Plaza Hotel again.

We went for Memorial Day weekend. They had a pool/movie party on Friday and Saturday night in honor of Memorial Day. Great for our kids who are 9 and 11 for some much needed downtime from walking all day. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. There is a plaza under the hotel where you can shop at a CVS or grab something to eat. The room needed some updates, but overall very clean! Without a doubt would stay there again!
