We were put in a room with construction right outside the window. We demanded a different room, and was given one, only to find there was no hot water in the hotel for the night and into the morning. My husband had to shave running hot water through the coffee pot! The staff was rude, and you had to pay for internet access. This was truly not worth the money or the misery. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone, despite its good location.

My family and I stayed here April 4, 2008 for 2 nights, during the cherry blossom festival. Our room was on the 12th floor. The windows were absolutely filthy but you could see the top of the Washington monument! Also, there was tape around the outside of the windows and at 1 point men working right outside the windows. The toilet seat, tv remote, and the phone were broken. Also, the toilet was not flushed when we first got into our room!! We paid $379 per night for the 1 bedroom suite.It would be nice if the full size beds were replaced by queens.Location was convenient we walked most of the time but there is a metro stop down the block. The staff were all very nice and helpful. I don't think I would stay here again.

When you stay somewhere, you look for convenience. Sometimes you pay a lot for that. I think we paid only for the convenience. The rooms s****d. We asked for one king sized bed and got two double beds. We found sticky candy left on the carpet next to one bed. Though close to the attractions we wanted to see, so were a lot of other hotels. Simply not worth the money we spent.

The hotel is an easy walk to the Mall and all around the city. Easy access to the Metro makes getting around easy as well. The rooms were old and needed to be updated. The A/C in the room was very loud and the beds were small. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd likely stay again if I was doing the tourist stuff becasue it is so close. Not a lot of luxery here
