Just your basic hotel, nothing special but nothing really bad. The two pool areas are nice but there only seems to be food and beverage service at the pool closest to the beach. No daily resort fee (which is a plus) however, parking is $30/day.

This hotel name sounds so fancy, but everyone on the trip with me agreed it didn't live up to its name. Most of it was nice. The location was very central to everything in waikiki, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the views were nice (even in city view), but it was lacking in a few areas. The original check in lady we spoke to told was not very friendly and seemed very uninterested. She told us we would have to wait 2 hours to check in. So we sat down in the lobby and waited with out luggage. I started to notice people checking in, so I talked to another person and was checked in right away. The rest of the staff we encountered through the trip were bright and cheery, including the housekeeping staff. The room had a mini fridge, flat screen TV, and a nice balcony. The desk had a nice setup where you could plug in your laptop to the wall and have it display on the TV. The room lacked a microwave and free internet, which I was really hoping to have. No free breakfast either. Our friends who stayed at cheaper hotels in the area had much more amenities than we did. Overall it was very nice, but I felt they could have added a few more basic things.

Prime location - close vicinity to the beach, stores, resturants etc... My room was a bit smaller that I expected, but it was my first time visiting Honolulu so I don't know the average room size. I had 8 pillows on my bed, no , I did not ask for 8. I just got 8.

My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon. I was so pleased with everything. The staff was friendly and very pleasant. The location was perfect. When we walked out we were right on the beach. Pretty much everything was in walking distance, and if not, there was easy access to public transportation. There was plenty of shopping and restaurants in the resort, as well as on Kalakaua, the street the resort is on. The only complaint I had was that there was no free wi-fi; however, I was not expecting it anyways from a Marriott resort. My husband and I just went to the Starbucks a block away to use the free wi-fi. Overall, our experience was AMAZING!
