Everything was fine with us. The location was very good, the maids were very good & friendly, also the ladies at the travel desk was helpful. Some of the best beds we have slept in. I would like to know the brand so I could buy one like it.

We were very happy with the hotel. Great location, just across the street from the beach, two pools, and large hot tub, near everything, restraurants, shopping. Hotel has execulent service and accomidations with a view of the ocean.We could walk anywhere we wanted to go, even Diamond Head, no need for a car with everything close, and trollys and buses available to go to go everywhere else. Suggest buying excursions and site seeing trips when you get there. Transfers from and to airport are available when you get to the airport, $15 round trip by motor coach.

We took a family trip last summer (June 2008). This was our first trip to Hawii. This resort has it all - in my opinion. There are several shops within the resort and PLUS you are right on the strip and there are miles of shops along the strip. We were on the top floor which had just been remodeled a couple of weeks before our trip. The room was very spacious with a bed that was to "die for". It was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever, ever slept in. They provided a roll-away bed for our son. We requested an oceanview room and was the view of Waikiki Beach ever so incredible. The sunset and sunrise was worth the money. The staff were very kind and helpful. No negative comments there. The check-in was quick and painless. The Concierge service was wonderful. Check with these people to find out who is the best in the area. They are very knowledgeable. They hooked my son up with private surfing lessons and this Provider provides photos/CD's - about 200 photos in all. It was great!! A GREAT memory for my son. This resort was absolutely gorgeous. The lobby is very large and open. I have no complaints at all and would definitely stay there again. We are going back this summer, but not to Oahu. Would definitely recommend this place. The room had an in-room safe which we utilized. No problems at all while staying here.

A little overpriced for the size, but who goes to Hawaii to sit in their room?? Friendly staff. The only suggestion I have is that if you are traveling with children do NOT use the side entrances to the HOTEL after Dark. Use the main entrance at the front on Kalakaua.

My wife and I took our 1st trip to Honolulu during Christmas and were very pleased with Marriott. Staff was helpful and the view was nice even with partial ocean view. Beds were very clean and comfortable! We were in the K tower and did not experience any long waits for the elevator. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub.The beach across the street was not as crowded as the beaches further down from the Marriott. Will stay here again!
