I HAVE BEEN GOING TO VEGAS FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS AND I TRY TO STAY AT A DIFFERENT PLACE EVERY YEAR....THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE IN THE LAST 4 YEARS THAT I WOULD STAY AT AGAIN....ITS OFF OF THE STRIP... THEY RUN A SHUDDLE TO THE STRIP FROM 930 AM TO 1230 AM....IT WAS REALLY GOOD ABOUT BEING ON TIME.......THE ROOMS ARE REALLY CLEAN AND I HAD A GREAT VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS.....THE CASINO WAS LOADED WITH ALL OF THE NEW SLOTS....EVERYONE AT THIS CASINO WAS VERY HELPFUL AND NICE.....YOU HAVE TO PASS A SECURITY CHECK POINT TO GET TO YOUR ROOM ( ALL THEY ASK FOR IS YOUR KEY )
MY ONLY GRIP WAS THE SAFE IN THE ROOM.....I WASNT EVEN BOLTED DOWN TO ANYTHING, YOU COULD HAVE JUST PICKED IT UP AND WALKED OFF WITH IT.......OVER ALL I WOULD GIVE THE ORLEANS A 8 OUT OF 10

I chose the Orleans for my front and back stay on a trip I was taking to Canada. I had a late check in going out and returning. The desk staff had me checked in and in my room in under 5 min. The rooms are very large and have a sitting area. Even though this was not a handicap room it was large enough for my friend , who uses a scooter to enter and maneuver easily. The bed was very comfortable - the pillows could use an upgrade - they are the marshmallow/cotton ball type and offer very little support. The room was clean and quiet. The shower had the best water pressure I have experienced in a hotel. I ate at the buffet and in the cafe. Both places the food was great. Be sure to get a players card - your get $1 discount at the buffet. The valet staff is friendly and fast. I left my car with them over the weekend and they remembered me - I seem to have a bad habit of misplacing my valet ticket. No muss no fuss. OH and the slots - well I like penny slots - I played $20 and walked away with $60. All around I was a winner and Love the Orleans. OH there is a bowling center and child play area - as well as a movie theater - and if you ask at the gift shop you get free Mardi Gras beads.

The rate was excellent. Check in was fast and was given a large beautiful non-smoking room overlooking the strip. The room was very comfortable with many amenities including lotions, shampoos and a safe. The casino was quite smoky, but fun. Joined the casino club and got a free lunch buffet which included many delicious entries of various types (Mexican, BBQ, Chinese, Cajan). The location is west of the strip, which I liked. Less crowded and quiet. I would definately recommend the Orleans if you don't care if you not on the strip and want to save money.

  • Excellent value and enjoyment

The room rates were very reasonable. We were very surprised at the excellent quality of the room for the price we paid. The casino was lively (and incidentally very kind to us!) clean and secure. The buffet had the most variety of food I've ever seen and a very good quality as well. Staff service was all around excellent. They made you feel as if you were a VIP guest. I will definitely return!
