The Intercontinental Mark Hopkins is a beautiful landmark in San Francisco. Our room was perfect, staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and watching the sunset from the Top of the Mark was incredible. It was very close to a cable car route and the rooms were quiet. I could not hear anyone in the hall. The history of this hotel is put together in the hotel lobby and very fascinating. I would stay here again!

Came to the Mark Plaza to celebrate my birthday with my daughters. The room was lovely; a bit small but very "authentic" San Francisco. On top of Nob Hill, we had a great view and were within walking distance of much of what we wanted to do in the City. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave--white puffy pillows and soft comforter, firm mattress. I plan on staying here again and would recommend it to anyone who wanted a special night in the city.

This is by far the best value for a Nob Hill Hotel. Hi-class place with top of the line comfort and amenities. Can't say enough about it. Always stay here when we make our annual trips to San Francisco.

We had reserved and paid for a room with two queen beds for our family of four for three nights. Unfortunately, that room was not available. To make up for the loss, they placed us in a large luxury room, with a large sitting area, a master bath, with a roof garden room and roof top deck overlooking San Francisco. There was plenty of room for two comfortable roll-away beds for our teenage sons, and four poster king size bed for us. As you can imagine, we were extremely pleased with our replacement room. The view from the roof is spectacular, and we all agree, the room was too. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location at 1 Nob Hill was great for exploring and enjoying the city.
