The hotel allowed dogs which I knew they did but I figured they would be kept in one location in the hotel. We were told they were kept on lst floor. We had 2nd floor room, dog was in room beside of us because he barked a couple of times. Room was not cleaned properly - found dog food bites on floor (this is on 2nd floor!) Our room was not cleaned one day and towels not replaced - had to call front desk. Hotel was in a good location and front staff were very friendly but their housekeeping people were terrible. That is their downfall. Free breakfast - looked okay but if you didn't get down to lobby first thing, it would all be gone and the worker acted like she couldn't put out more food.

I stayed here the night before and the night of my wedding. It was a great location because it was in between where some of my family was staying at a camp ground and the actual wedding location. The price was very reasonable and the room was pretty cool. My maid of honor and I stayed there the night before the wedding & even had pizza delivered (so we could stay in & celebrate). I would stay here again!

I stayed here 6 days for a work seminar in the area. Over all, the hotel was okay. It's an older facility, so the carpet and wall paint were very worn. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff did a great job keeping the towels and linens clean and folded. I will say that the desk staff and the breakfast staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. If I ever needed anything, they were extremely willing to help. One downside was that the recepton on the tv in my room was completely messed up...but i wiggled the cable cord, and presto! it was fixed. Another bonus is it's location. The beach is a short walk away :) For the price, this hotel will do just fine.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here while we explored moving to Myrtle Beach and found the accommodations good for the super cheap price we paid. The staff was great and super friendly. It felt like a family run small business where they actually care about their customers instead of a large hotel chain.
