We were totally pleased with our recent 5 night stay at this hotel. You never know what to expect when you pick one randomly, but this one exceeded our expectations. The desk staff was so nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning before the start of our busy sightseeing day. The room was small, but not a problem as you don't come to the Big A to sit in your room. Our room was on the 11th floor in the back so it was super quiet with no street noise. We would recommend this if booking a stay. The beds are comfy and the nightly chocolate was a nice touch. The bathroom was spotless and had the thickest, most luxurious towels I've ever had at any hotel. I loved the Molton Brown items and now want to buy the shampoo so I can use it everyday!!!. We will definitely return to this hotel when visiting the city.

It is right off of Times Square - close to everything but tucked away on a quiet side street. The staff is amazing, friendly, helpfull and always make me feel right at home. The rooms are a little small but it's NY after all and to be expected. Beds so comfortable, nice linens, bathroom has a great shower and towels to die for. Have stayed here a number of times and keep coming back because I love it so much.

We stayed here over Easter weekend 2009. Hotel was very nice and clean but extremely small. Rooms were very hot and we were unable to change temperature...stuffy. Could not get the room very dark no room darking drapes only wood blinds and light from street filtered in very distracting and very noisy. Also, no valet parking parking garage short distance down the block gave discount to hotel guests if you had ticket validated. Diner type resturant (Red Flame) few doors down for breakfast reasonable and good. I probably would not stay here again, I like valet parking, bigger rooms and temperature control.

  • Simply Wonderful!

I just can't say enough nice things about the Iroquois Hotel. I had researched for months and trusted past reviews to book the IH. The lobby is cozy like a gentleman's library, with great coffee in the mornings and hot cider in the afternoons and evenings. The room was moderately sized but the luxurious linens, bath towels, robes, turn down service made it especially nice, even a NY Times waiting on the door each morning and free shoe shines at night.Location: PERFECT. We walked everywhere:2blocks to Broadway, Empire State Building, Theaters, Central Park--just everything. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter and I felt safe everywhere we went. I will return again and again to the IH and have already recommended it to friends planning a trip to NY. You will not be disappointed by the Iroquois.

Our first trip to NYC and we wanted to stay in a quintessential Manhatten hotel. We weren't disappointed- Perfect location, beautiful rooms, wonderful restaurant. Deskclerks/doormen weren't particularly knowledgeable about the surrounding area but pleasant enough. Not cheap but left me feeling satisfied.
