I was very happy with this hotel. It is within walking distance to great shopping, museums, the stadium and Grace Cathedral. The room was very comfortable. The only problem was the candy supply is out in the open but you will be charged "within 10 seconds" if it's moved. $7+ for a candy bar. Also you have to request a refrigerator for your supplies or you will be charged for opening the one in the room.

The Westin is definitely a prime location to stay while in SF. The lobby was decorated beautifully for the holiday season and it had a very warm and cozy feel all around. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. My only complaint was that the rooms were a little small and that you had to pay for Internet. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay overall

We really loved the location, especially with a 2 1/2 year old. Walking distance to everything, right off the trolley line, and minutes from the Bart. Star Trek convention made for a very interesting experience:-)
