- From May 18 to July 9, 2012, we will be completing enhancements to our Club Lounge. During this time breakfast and refreshments for our Club Level guests will be relocated to a private area of Roux Bistro reserved exclusively for them. Please contact the hotel for further information.

I stayed in the Sheraton New Orleans on Dec 21 & 22 for a family Christmas. The hotel has been renovating for the past year & I was lucky enough to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms. It was a beautiful, comfortable room with a surper view of Canal St (Christmas lights were great!) The staff was most accomodating & the beds were heavenly!! I will surely recommend the Sheraton to my friends when they travel to NO

Overpriced, not at all the southern hospitality I expected. The room we were put in initially smelled like stale smoke (non-smoking hotel mind you) and we were moved to a renovated room that was much better. Location was convenient to the French quarter but that was really the only advantage to this hotel. Hotel was also under renovation and we were told it would take 45 minutes to get our sandwich and salad after we ordered it. Unacceptable. Also, there was no free internet which was advertised. Really disappointed in this hotel.

I've stayed at the Sharaton on Canal Street several times now. It is in a great location, very close to the French Quarter, Casino, Superdome and St. Charles Street street car line. The hotel is clean and comfortable and has a decent bar and Starbucks in the lobby. The staff is helpful and attentive. I recommend staying on the club level because you get a room on the higher floors, with a separate elevator bank. Also, you get access the a club lounge, where you can get compimentary beverages, breakfast and snacks. If you are SPG rewards member, you get free WIFI access too. Overall, this is an execellent choice for a trip to New Orleans.
