Hotel is okay overall. Nothing special, but for the rate we paid it was fine. I wouldn't pay more than $100 or so a night as the hotel doesn't really offer anything all that great in my opinion. The pool was okay, the food was good, but the buffet was overpriced. It was a good value with the 2 for 1 coupon, but not for full price. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable, so I gave it 5 stars on the bed for sure! Staff was good, not great. They don't come around very often when gambling. We had one good waitress who did, the rest you rarely saw. We had one really good blackjack dealer who was friendly, the others robots. I don't know when Vegas became so darn expensive and the dealers so unfriendly, hardly makes it worth it. I would stay at TI again if I got a great rate and couldn't get a comparable deal at a better hotel like Paris or Planet Hollywood. Resort fee seems to be a bad idea. Just add it into the price so people can compare apples to apples when looking at hotels and don't have to figure out which hotel has them and which does not. Just a way to annoy your customers. Plus they charged me $25 a day for the resort fee and when I booked 6 months ago, my reservation said it was $20 a day.

When you sit down to gamble you will not get a server to approach you for a while if even AT ALL. I decided to check out other hotels casinos and gambled in at least four of them. I was approached by a server within the minute I sat down at the slot machines at every other hotel BUT treasure island. Treasure Island's servers, restaurant staff AND dealers were not friendly at all either. I forgot to bring toothpaste with me and I asked the front desk if they had any and they told me to go to Walgreen's. Really?? What hotel doesn't have toothpaste? The power went out at 3:00 AM for at least an hour and the elevators were backed up and you could not see anything in the halls OR your room. Our shower was clogged up and the water would fill up the tub. NASTY! The TV Channels were terrible and our friends who stayed there had a bed that was slanted to one side. Don't use the hair dryer that they provide because it will rip your hair out. Lastly, there vending machine ate my money. There's a 0% chance I will ever stay here again.

The check-in line took about an hour, which, on a time crunched weekend was not where I wanted to be. However, we were allowed to just leave our hotel keys in the room upon check-out which meant we could just get up and get to the airport. One thing I wish they had was a coffee pot in the room. I know it's Vegas & you could get some downstairs but c'mon...I think even Super 8 offers a coffee pot. The shuttle service that we opted for??? I will never use them again. Who wants to sit on a bus & wait for it to fill up & make pit stops before you get to your own hotel? No thanks.

The front desk staff was very helpful and did her best to meet our requirments. We had 3 rooms and she was able to get them next to each other. The hotel was clean. Casino was disappointing as when I sat to play cards the dealers just did there job and I would have liked a little conversation amoung the table. Some of the players were engaged but the dealers just stood there. Overall it was good.
