The Hotel room was nice except they present a resort fee to you of $28.00 a day that is not added to your room rate to makes the charge look like less when you book it. It's a deceptive trade practice. The noise of the show is on every nite so if you are a light sleeper(?# dont stay too close to the show #not sure where you would stay.) Also, the smoke from the lobby to the rooms is overpowering. When your in the casino you get over it, but its intense. Not much clean air circulating like at the Venetian or Pallazo.

The first night I wasn't able to get the two queens as requested, but TI fixed it the next day. The only problem with the second room was someone smoked in it, and the hotel is non-smoking. We requested to change rooms, but the hotel has a service where they will spray your room to get rid of the smell. It helped a little, but the smell was still there for the next three nights. The pool has a nice DJ setup on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so if you don't want to hear loud music this is not the place for you. When we go to Vegas we like pools where the crowd gets crazy, but everyday the staff continued to cut in and stop "excessive" fun. Still the pool wasn't that bad overall, but we will be looking for another pool next time. The location on the strip was probably the best benefit if you are a avid clubber. It's within walking distance of Tao, Pure, Lavo, XS, ans Surrender just to name a few.

My only complaint, for lack of a better word, of our room was the shower. I love that it had a hand held showerhead but not only was it's cradle broken but the water pressure was terrible. I know Vegas is conserving water but when you have to stay in the shower longer just to rinse shampoo and soap that's not exactly conserving. Other than that, everything else was great. The casino was very clean and practically smoke free. There were some people smoking but you couldn't tell so bravo for their a/c filter system! The restaurants, especially the buffet, was awesome!

Treasure Island met my needs for location and was very clean. Only draw back is hidden fee totaling $194 for the week. Therefore, I can't tell if it was a good deal or not. Hidden fees provided no extra services to me. A free newspaper was provided but had to go lobby to get it.

We stayed at the hotel recently for two evenings...one at beginning of vacation and one at the end. While everything was fine and the price was right I was disappointed with the check in procedure. The first night took approximately 45 to 50 minutes and the second about 30 to 45 minutes. They have to do something to speed up the check in procedures. Also, I thought the resort fee was rather bogus. Either include it in the cost of the room or don't offer it.
