Since Treasure Island has done their room remodels this place is my favorite spot in Vegas. It's imperative to ask for a room that faces the strip. The location is great and they also have restaurants that overlook the strip.

  • Will stay somewhere else next time.

We booked thru TI. Paid for round trip air fare for 3, reservation for petite suite with supposed mountain view, trip supposedly included shuttle fare to and from airport. NOT! We were offered a free upgrade and thought well how nice. I did not realize going from a suite with a whirlpool tub, sofa, king bed with a supposed mountain view to a regular room with 2 queen beds and regular tub strip view was an upgrade. We had to pay again for shuttle to and from airport. (even though it was supposedly included with trip price which wasn't cheap by any means) Maids and service technitions in casino were very nice and the customer service folks could take a few lessons from them. Mystere was incredible and the staff in Pho and the Buffet were great. When trying to get answers nicely and resolve issues related to our reservation deal we were given the "run around" and management was "not available" ever. It is March/spring break and the pool closes at 5pm? Beds were comfortable.

Third Vegas trip, first time staying at TI. Three of us, ages 22-26. The walk from the parking garage to the lobby was relatively short, the lobby staff was friendly. We slipped them a 20, no fancy tricks, and they upgraded us to a strip-view room. Aside from walking near people who are smoking, the casino didn't smell like smoke, nor did the room at all. Had a great view of the volcano at the Mirage. As soon as we got up, we phoned the front desk and asked for a complimentary bottle of champagne, it arrived no more than 10 minutes later. We tipped the guy that brought it, of course. As for the room itself, it was very nice, very clean, fully stocked, and neatly made. Loved the iHome, loved that there's a safe, which we ended up locking our friend's debit/credit cards in. Didn't watch much TV. AC worked well. The room was quiet. In fact, we never saw, nor heard, anybody else on our floor. Elevators are really fast. We went during the week and surprisingly the casino wasn't totally dead, even at 4am when we had the time of our lives playing craps with the coolest staff ever. The Sirens show is cheesy and super packed, not worth seeing IMO. Didn't eat at any of the restaurants, got Krispy Kreme donuts once at 4pm (when we woke up) and the Asian lady stepped out from behind the counter to blatantly stare at us because we look like we steal things? When we paid, her attitude totally changed and she was friendly. Only went to the Kahunaville bar once with awesome buy-one-get-one coupons. Bartenders were awesome. All in all, it's a really nice hotel and casino. TI is definitely aimed toward 20-somethings so you won't see many geriatrics in Hoverounds. Definitely coming back, definitely recommending TI to friends.
