- Unlimited local and toll free calls, Limited Business Center services such as outgoing faxes, copies (up to 5 pages), notary, and boarding pass printing, Free access to the cardio room.
Two pools currently open, other pool areas will open March 1-current hours 9am-5pm. Wet Republic @ MGM Gran3799d opens March 22, 2013. - Beginning Friday March 8, 2013, a credit card or debit card deposit for incidentals will be required upon check-in, in addition to room/tax & resort fee/tax for the amount 300.00 per day.

Overall the MGM Grand was a great place to stay. I would recommend this hotel for adults. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from, the Casino is big and it's close to New York/New York, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay and Monte Carlo. If you travel during the summer you could make use of the large pools on property.

There is a lot to do inside the MGM, you have great shows, restaurants and a food court all under the same roof. When you are ready to venture out all of the nearby hotels are easily accessible via tram or sky bridge (excalibur, NY NY, Mandalay Bay) the showcase mall is a two min walk next door (M&Ms, ross etc.) There is also a monorail station in the hotel that can get you to the other side of the strip easily and cheaply. My only complaint is that the rooms need to be updated. The televisions are at least 10-15 years old, the lighting is horrible, there were only three lamps and that is it in our entire suite and they were difficult to turn on, looked like they were dollar buys from a garage sale. BUT, the room was clean and housekeeping did a great job of putting our room back together each day and replenishing our supply of towels etc. We had small children so I was very picky about the cleanliness of the bathtub and I dare to say that it was cleaner than ours at home. All in all I highly recommend! great location, comfortable beds, very friendly and accommodating staff, eager to please and ready to offer suggestions/info. We have stayed at other hotels on the strip but our next trip will be booked at the MGM. (note: they are in the process of remodeling the rooms)

10/07/2011We got a great room at a decent price and everything was great the shops, restaurants and clubs.
WE GOT A GREAT ROOM AT A DECENT PRICE AND EVERYTHING WAS GREAT THE SHOPS, RESTAURANTS AND CLUBS.

I would rate front desk 3 stars because I don't want to "ding" v and h departments - although helpful with information on different shifts, "first impression" personnel could be warmer, more cordial (our party was dressed in tees and jeans)
