Important Hotel Information
- Guests arriving at MGM Grand must be 21 years of age to check in to the hotel. MGM charges a daily resort fee of 25 per room plus tax, payable upon check-in which includes complimentary high speed internet,
- Daily USA Today newspaper available at Front Page newsstand,
- Unlimited local and toll free calls, Limited Business Center services such as outgoing faxes, copies (up to 5 pages), notary, and boarding pass printing, Free access to the cardio room.
Two pools currently open, other pool areas will open March 1-current hours 9am-5pm. Wet Republic @ MGM Gran3799d opens March 22, 2013. - Beginning Friday March 8, 2013, a credit card or debit card deposit for incidentals will be required upon check-in, in addition to room/tax & resort fee/tax for the amount 300.00 per day.

Great experience

02/11/2013I've stayed in lesser quality places in lv. the only advantage that those other places have is ease of walking anywhere. mgm is so... big... walking seemed overwhelming. why ...
I've stayed in lesser quality places in LV. The only advantage that those other places have is ease of walking anywhere. MGM is so... big... walking seemed overwhelming. Why leave it had everything. check in was easy also..a big plus

The hotel had a vanilla musk spray trying to cover marlboro's. I couldn't hardly stand the smell so I won't be back. It's unfortunate because the staff was very friendly, the hotel had plenty of places to eat in every price range. Also, our room was one of the remodeled ones and it was awesome - very comfortable and clean. We did walk through other hotels who did not seem to have the same air quality! We will try those next time.

The hotel was nice and clean. The only complaint I would have is that when i booked the hotel, I booked a petite king suite. I still am not sure what the petite king suite is because we didnt get it. At check in they were brisk with everyone due to being busy. When we checked in the desk clerk said I have you in a room with two queen beds. I said no I booked a petite king suite. She said the room with two queen beds was better. I told her I wanted a king bed not two queens.(My husband is 6'4" and doesnt share a queen bed very well.) They told me they didnt have any kings left. I thought it odd that I had a king reserved, but they were all out. They did make everything good though by the next day. They held a King for us the next day so we moved rooms and they waived the daily resort fee for our troubles. So overall it was a good trip. If you will be checking into your hotel late though you may or may not actually get the room type or bed that you actually reserved. But they did do their best to correct it as soon as they were able to do so.

The front desk was very accomodating to locate the 2 rooms as close a possible considering one person of the 5 was a bit handicapped. I did not like the surcharge of $25 per night per room when we arrived. We did not use the internet or items we paid for. This should be optional. Security and Housekeeping checked for a lost item once I returned home.
