Important Hotel Information
- Guests arriving at MGM Grand must be 21 years of age to check in to the hotel. MGM charges a daily resort fee of 25 per room plus tax, payable upon check-in which includes complimentary high speed internet,
- Daily USA Today newspaper available at Front Page newsstand,
- Unlimited local and toll free calls, Limited Business Center services such as outgoing faxes, copies (up to 5 pages), notary, and boarding pass printing, Free access to the cardio room.
Two pools currently open, other pool areas will open March 1-current hours 9am-5pm. Wet Republic @ MGM Gran3799d opens March 22, 2013. - Beginning Friday March 8, 2013, a credit card or debit card deposit for incidentals will be required upon check-in, in addition to room/tax & resort fee/tax for the amount 300.00 per day.

Staff didn't seem to care when I complained about my room location, or the fact that I was right next to the extremely loud construction. I would have been better off saving the money I spent for the room, by not staying at MGM.

Found this deal with flight from Vancouver, BC for only $401. What a bargain!!?? Room is great but four minutes walk to the lobby elevator. There is another elevator close to the room but going to the middle of nowhere. The lady at the concierge is very helpful. She suggests joining the MGM club to save $30 for each David Copperfield show ticket. She also recommends some nice restaurants just a few blocks away. Lion Habitat opens from 1100-1900 which is >_< because I was always out for sightseeing during daytime. Spa and pool closes at 1600! >_< MGM probably setup this type of schedule for some reason to limit guest usage and save money on maintenance. I pay the >_< $20+tax resort fee but can't use anything other than Internet.

I am a regular visitor to Vegas, and usually get a good deal on the strip. I had never stayed at the MGM, usually Bally's, and I really thought the MGM was going to be a bit more upscale, and it's simply not. The room had less amenities, no coffee or tea provided, tiny closet, and the room was SO dark, we had to put the lights on in the room even during the day! It wasn't horrible, or disgusting, I was just expecting more. The Internet seemed a bit sketchy, my iPad kept losing the signal. Also our room had an adjoining door to the next room which I really disliked, then at midnight on our second night new people checked into the adjoining room, and they were all shouting and hollering, so at 1am I had call the desk to tell them about the partying next door, fair enough folks party in Vegas, not too much the hotel can do I suppose, but it was apparent they had their portion of the adjoining door open. Also the safe buttons were so worn out you couldn't see a number of the digits, the plastic covering was cracked and broken, and the hotel had marked an "R" & "L" for the reset and lock buttons. The beds were comfy and the pillows were great. the room seemed a bit cramped and I just think I had higher expectations for the MGM as their prices are often higher than some of the other strip hotels, but for value for money, I will be going back to Bally's.
