Important Hotel Information

  • Guests arriving at MGM Grand must be 21 years of age to check in to the hotel. MGM charges a daily resort fee of 25 per room plus tax, payable upon check-in which includes complimentary high speed internet,
  • Daily USA Today newspaper available at Front Page newsstand,
  • Unlimited local and toll free calls, Limited Business Center services such as outgoing faxes, copies (up to 5 pages), notary, and boarding pass printing, Free access to the cardio room.

    Two pools currently open, other pool areas will open March 1-current hours 9am-5pm. Wet Republic @ MGM Gran3799d opens March 22, 2013.
  • Beginning Friday March 8, 2013, a credit card or debit card deposit for incidentals will be required upon check-in, in addition to room/tax & resort fee/tax for the amount 300.00 per day.

    Used the check-in counter at the airport for the first time and found it to be very convenient. Asked if there was any chance of getting one of the newly renovated rooms but there were none available, so the very nice lady who was checking us in gave us a free upgrade to a Double Queen Suite on the 15th floor with a partial Strip view. In retrospect, since we were staying four nights, this turned out much better as it had a nice sitting area with a couch, armchair, coffee table and a second TV. Yes, the TV was old but it worked just fine. We were in town to attend a wedding and the sitting area came in handy to entertain other people who came to town for the wedding. The room, while the older style, was in good condition. No stains or worn spots on the furniture or the carpet. The maid service was great. Sad to see the negative reviews, but perhaps if you start out with a negative attitude it just goes downhill from there. I find that a smile and pleasant words can get you really good service at this hotel. We were never bothered by the construction and the floor we stayed on was very quiet.

    Staff was helpful and courteous from the moment we arrived. Plenty of staff to handle large crowds, wait for chech-in/checkout was virtually non-exsistent. Easy to find your way around. Many dining options. Rooms were great yet was a little disappointed there were no coffee machines in the rooms. Monorail station at the hotel is very convenient!

    The hotel is huge but easy to get around. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. My room was very warm so I asked to be moved to another room. The new room was ready within an hour. This hotel will work to make your stay enjoyable and stress free.

    My 2 night stay was overall, enjoyable. Having worked in the hotel industry for several years, the thing that impressed me about the MGM Grand is the employees! Everyone I encountered, the staff at checkin to checkout , the bellmen, the concierges and the waitress at the steak house, made sure I was being taken care of and felt at home. I also attended the Cirque du Solie KA show at the hotel, which was very enjoyable and worth seeing again. The one issue I had ,was with the musty smell my room had. When reporting this to the front desk, the clerk offered to move me to another room, which I declined and requested the room to be sprayed with air freshner. This took care of that issue. The room location and view was worth keeping. Overall, lots to do and an enjoyable stay.
