- Guests arriving at MGM Grand must be 21 years of age to check in to the hotel. MGM charges a daily resort fee of 25 per room plus tax, payable upon check-in which includes complimentary high speed internet,
- Daily USA Today newspaper available at Front Page newsstand,
- Unlimited local and toll free calls, Limited Business Center services such as outgoing faxes, copies (up to 5 pages), notary, and boarding pass printing, Free access to the cardio room.
Two pools currently open, other pool areas will open March 1-current hours 9am-5pm. Wet Republic @ MGM Gran3799d opens March 22, 2013. - Beginning Friday March 8, 2013, a credit card or debit card deposit for incidentals will be required upon check-in, in addition to room/tax & resort fee/tax for the amount 300.00 per day.

We stayed 4 nights at the MGM Grand. It was our first trip to Vegas and we were very pleased. The hotel was extremely nice and it is huge. The only problem we ran into was the contruction going on.

I was happy with the room quality minus the fact that the television in the bathroom mirror did not work. More of a luxury anyway. A/C worked nice and the bed was comfortable. The casino was clean and quiet except for Monday when they started construction in the casino with a jackhammer. The food was excellent at the places I did eat (Grand Buffet every morning, Wolfgang Puck Friday night and room service Sunday night).

The MGM Grand is undergoing a massive renovation of the casino and hotel. There is a letter from the general manager included in your welcome packet when you first go into your room that explains the renovation and that you may hear construction noise during certain times of the day. I was in one of the new executive king rooms and it was pretty nice. It's a very large room with a living room with sectional sofa and sitting chair on one side and a huge king sized bed on the other. In the middlle is a 32 inch flatscreen tv that swivels between both sides of the room. There is also a media hub to connect your laptop, blu-ray player and other devices. The bathroom is nicely appointed and there is a large closet as well. There are also some very nice restaurants on the property. I recommed Emeral Lagasse's seafood restaurant as well as Nobhill by Michael Mina.

I thought this hotel was great, staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was amazing and the blackout shades were wonderful. However the hotel is huge the front desk is on the opposite side of the entrance to the strip which I didn't like. However the hotel is connected directly to the monorail which was convenient. The hotel is located on the south end of the strip away from the other luxurious hotels. I would recommend this hotel but next time I think I would like to stay elsewhere only because I want to be in the middle of the strip because there is so much walking in vegas.
