The rooms in the west tower are smaller, but well designed for the small space. no view, quite a hike to get to the room.

Pros- great bed, nice bathroom, clean room for the $$. get the remodeled Grand king. cardio room clean and sufficient machines. good places to eat, casual and fine dining. Cons- too noisy, really loud music videos 24/7 in lobby, no coffemaker in rm, got another year older waiting for the elevator (up or down), attended a wedding in the chapel - don't plan your wedding there unless you want to feel like you are in a skit on Saturday Night Live....laughable music, pastor looked like a funeral director and they herd each wedding party in and out like cattle. And slot machines were not as generous to me as I was to them.

  • Most Hotel staff and Hotel Policy's does not respect the guests

Stayed from August 6 thru August 9, 2011. My vacation was for 4 days and 3 Nights. Upon my arrival, I was upgraded to a different room for 20.00 per night. I had a 75.00 food credit when I booked, but it does not tell you that they put a hold for $100.00 per night for each night you stay if you want to use it on your credit card, So 3 nights, $300.00 hold for a $75.00 food credit. If you have a Visa debit card the hold per night increases. No where in the reservation or anywhere printed does it state this, it just says, certain restriction apply. Be mindful of this gimmick when booking. Nothing is for nothing. The housekeeping staff noted that we took something from the mini bar. We bought orange juice from the lobby and drank it in a glass in the room. We had to have someone come upstairs to prove it was still in the fridge, so be careful not to even breathe near the mini bar. The resort fee is a joke! We could not even access the internet. There was a convention going on and the line just for a cup of coffee in the morning was 20 minutes long at each of the Starbucks. ($3.25 for a small cup) So after a night of drinking, dancing and gambling, be wary of this. There were so many undesirables hanging around the outside and on the overhead walks, please be careful walking at night. Security should have had them removed. The buffet in the hotel is awful. After having breakfast and dinner I can tell you that the food is not fresh. Whatever is not eaten the night before is put out at 10:30 am. I look forward to eating left overs on vacation. The staff at the registers were not friendly either. I do have to give credit where credit is due. Aaron who works the night shift in the Lobby was great. Even though he said he was only working in the hotel a few short months, he was the most courteous staff member during my whole stay. Would I stay here again? NO! I would stay at one of the Harrah's Properties. They do not charge a "RESORT" fee. There were so many kids running through the Casino, that I felt I was at Disney World.
