We loved staying here. It was in a great location with lots of fun things to do at night, and really pretty inside. The room was beautiful and trendy. The only minus was the $57 a night for valet which is the only option aside from leaving your car on the street overnight. Staff was friendly and prompt to respond to requests we had, everything was clean and classy. Really fun place to stay. Free internet when you sign up for kimpton in touch I think it's called. It was a little noisy because we slept with our window open but I liked hearing the faint sounds from Union Square. If you need perfect silence you might not want to stay around here :)

The hotel staff was very friendly and most helpful. Since we did not expect to spend much time in the room the size of the room did not really matter. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comforable. We slept very well. Will stay at the Drake anytime we are in town.

The room and bed was very clean. They charged for parking the car for us but will bring the car up front in a short time when you need it. For the most part it was good except the room and bathroom are very small.

This is a great historic hotel. Location is wonderful. Cable cars stop right at the front door. Union Square one block away. Restaurants and stores all around. A handy Walgreens is right across the street and Starbucks is next door. Room was very clean. Only complaint was our room was a bit small.
