We enjoyed our stay on our vacation to D.C. this past summer. The the hotel staff was prompt and courteous. Super fast and yummy room service. The hotel was in easy walking distance of the metro for sight seeing and only 3 blocks from the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. They even had an adjoining Starbucks!

This hotel is fantastic for its proximity to the National Mall and the Metro. If you're in town as a tourist (like we were) or if you need to be close to the Capitol for meetings, etc. this is an ideal location. The trade-off is that it's an older hotel - a solid 3-star facility (in my opinion). Plus, there are not a lot of dining options in the immediate neighborhood other than McDonald's and other fast-food chains. But, this is an affordable option for traveling families and others that plan on spending most of their time in Washington DC outside of their hotel room.

Very clean, safe hotel with helpful staff. Great restaurant inside the hotel offering a buffet or full menu. Walking distance to EVERYTHING and if not, the subway is conveniently located 1/2 block away. Would be my first choice when traveling back to DC and would recommend to others.
