As I stated above, the hotel staff was friendly and our balcony rooms were clean with plenty of space. The valet parking is secure (they lock the gates at night) and definately worth the price. The pool area is visually appealing and kept clean but the water temp was a little chilly for me, especially considering it was early July. The complimentary breakfast could be improved. They seem to run out of pastries early (but always had plenty of croissants, apples and oranges on hand). On our last morning they didn't have milk or juice available, they only had ice water, hot water and coffee out.

This hotel is beautiful and centrally located. The hotel staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions for any price range and taste. The room was nice and the cleaning staff very generous with extra towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. *Remember the ice is located on the main floor only, so ask for an ice bucket bag at the main desk and get some before going to your room?it will save you a trip! Also, parking is $25.00 plus tax = $28.00, yet it is worth it?your car is in a covered garage attached to the hotel?it?s valet ? and you can come and go as you please at no extra charge. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff was wonderful. They were very helpful in helping us get excursions. The room was large and comfortable. Housekeeping was immaculate. The towels were luxurious. I did suggest to them that they might want to put at least one grab bar in the tub and a hook in the bathroom.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel! And the room was very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful with providing information to make our trip go smoothly and be more enjoyable. The continental breakfast was nothing special but adequate, especially with all the food available in New Orleans! The courtyard was beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!

It was easy to walk anywhere in the French Quarter in minutes. Parking is always expensive, but the car was safe and Hotel St Marie allowed us to park a few extra hours with no extra charge. Staff was friendly. Beds were firm, but not too firm. We enjoyed the balcony over the courtyard. Breakfast was Contenental and included. We have stayed at other reasonably priced hotels in New Orleans, but Hotel St Marie is our new favorite.
