We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean, the beds comfortable, the pool was nice, continental breakfast was just right.. the best was the location. not on Bourbon, but just down the street about 70 feet. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. WE would stay here again.

I was very pleased with our stay at the Hotel St Marie. All of the staff was courteous and very eager to help with anything. The hotel was very clean and the parking was no problem. I definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully stay there next time we go to New Orleans.

We had an inside Courtyard room. Small, but quaint, ideal for the two of us attending a family weekend...which turned into Super Bowl weekend. One block off Boubon Street, the weekend was hectic, crazy fun. The staff of Hotel St Marie was wonderful. Though very busy, they were always accomodating and friendly. My sister had a corner balcony room which I highly recommend. Not as noisy as I thought a street balcony would be (remember it was the Super Bowl!). Peter at the desk was consistently on the mark with many excellent restaurant recommendations. We had a great time, and would stay here again.

Great for the Money

We spent 5 nights in January 2010 at the St. Marie. Had a courtyard balcony for fresh air but were disappointed that our request for balcony furniture was not honored even though we made our reservation in July 2009. All desk staff were extremely courteous friendly and very helpful. Provided us with detained routes to everywherfe we inquired about as well as maps. Room was large and immaculate beds were confortable. Our balcony was over the courtyard and very quiet at night. Dont know why some folks when they book a street-side balcony that close to Bourbon. Location was great smack in the middle of the quarter an easy walk to just about everything. We liked the fact that we were not paying for banquet rooms and other activity areas that we did not plan to use. We smelled none of the mold and mildew alluded to in other reviews.
