This was my first time in New Orleans and I had a great time and the Hotel St Marie was an important factor in this. This hotel is just a stone's throw from Bourbon Street but still it is quiet. It includes free internet and a simple breakfast and is great value for money. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Rooms are a good size and clean and have a little balcony overlooking the pool. I wouldn't look for a different hotel in New Orleans!

This hotel is close to everything in the French Quarter. You can walk to Cafe Dumonde, Jackson Square, Burbon Street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We have always stayed with family when visiting New Orleans so this was our first experience staying in the French Quarter. I would definately stay here again!

Old hotel, but that also gave it charm. It was close to action, but quiet. That is probably the best part. The beds ween't so comfy, but it had a good bath for an older hotel. It was just a little stuffy. For a family not staying in the room except to sleep, it was just fine.

A friend and I spent 4 days at the Hotel St. Marie in January. It was a great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and friendly. The location could not be better. 1/2 a block from Bourbon Street makes this hotel perfectly situated for walking to everything but far enough away that when you do finally get to sleep the noise factor from the street is not an issue. They have a very basic continental breakfast which was fine for us, as we are not big breakfast eaters. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Even in January their beautiful outside courtyard was inviting enough to sit outside and have coffee. The pool and grounds were very well kept. I would certainly stay there again.
