pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was. well kept. location was awesome. walked everywhere. no need for a car or cab. took the shuttle to and from the airport. quick and easy. loved the bar and the pool area. great place to hang out and chat with fellow guests

The hotel is just feet from bourbon st but not so close you cant sleep.I did not use any hotel staff other than to check in and everything went well.I was shocked that the cost per extra person is $20.00 per person!

Not the most comfortable bed. If I did stay again would definitely request a balcony. We were tucked around back - not on the street. We did have a private courtyard, which was nice, but we didn't really use it. Room service came too early (around 9 am).

I stayed at the St Marie in April 2012. The hotel is a mess. The hallways are in deparate need of repair. The rooms smell of cigarettes even if they say no smoking. Our bathroom had black mold on the ceiling. The owner of this hotel needs to walk the halls and paint, wash and change the draperies. On a positive, note the restaurant appeared clean and the outdoor court yard was pleasant.

Hotel St. Marie is in a fantastic location just off Bourbon Street. The lobby and common areas are updated and well lit. The courtyard is quite nice, The rooms are in great need of updating. The furniture is acceptable, but the beds are hard and cheap and the linens are extremely thin. The carpet could also use an upgrade.
