My only problem was when we got to the hotel they overbooked and we had to go to another hotel. They made all the arrangements and paid for the cab to and back. The hotel had a spiral staircase up to the room and a double bed. We did have trouble with the stairs and we manage the bed. Air did not work and they gave us a fan. The next day we were in the original hotel and they upgraded us to a suite with no charge. We would go back.

For a luxury hotel, the management needs to pay attention to some details. Heating in the room was not working the first night. There was a divot in the wall. The lamps in the room had broken shades and missing knobs. The bathroom door does not open freely when the commode seat was down. The pipes in the room were very noisy. The window in the room had interior condensation. On the plus side, the room was fairly clean and the bed, pillows and linens were above average, and the staff attentive to requests. Location was close to the French Quarter.
