This was my first trip to Las Vegas and my stay at Bally's was without any let downs. The staff was very helpful and quick to answer any questions. The hotel is one of the older ones on that portion of the strip and when ccomparing it to others you could see where it lacked when it came to the rooms. Overall we weren't in our room very often and we had a very enjoyable stay.

  • Great location!

My husband and I stayed at Balleys for 5 nights in early April. Check in was easy, and we even got upgraded to a larger room in the renovated tower which had a nice view of the north strip. The room had a large table for 4, a desk, couch/sitting area and vanity area. No fridge or minibar though. The ice machine was broken on several of the floors as guests were coming to our floor to get their ice. The room was clean, except for a large stain on the hallway carpet. Housekeeping did a great job of supplying towels and tidying the room, but they did enter our room when our 'do not disturb' sign was up. We heard a knock on the door first and didn't answer, but certainly did not expect them to just barge in with the sign up! We were at the end of the hall (long walk from the elevator), and it was still quite noisy at times (could here the people in the hallway/and maybe rooms next door a bit) The location of Balleys is just great. It is right in the middle of the strip and makes it easy to walk around and see all the casinos and other hotels. It is connected to the Paris, and across the street from Ceasars and Bellagio. The pool area is very outdated, but had ample lounge chairs and a bar, with waitresses coming to take your order. We ate at the tequila bar which is open late and has good deals and pretty good mexican food -$2 tacos and margaritas (minimum of 2 tacos though!) On the pool level, there is a Sabaros pizza, Nathans famous hot dog and some other good options for a quick bite to eat. Overall, it was a good stay and we would definetaly stay here again. The location can't be beat if you are planning to walk the strip, and there is also a free shuttle here that takes you to the Rio hotel.

  • the staff was friendly and helpful. Very affordable

Bally's wouldn't be my first choice if price was no option, but it's great for travelers on a budget. Location is ideal - right in the middle of the strip. Lots to do at Bellagio right across the street. Rooms in our part of the hotel were a little shabby--my understanding is that they would be refurbed soon. Rooms were very spacious though and they graciously accommodated my request for adjoining rooms for our group.
