I have mixed feelings about Ballys. In general it needs some serious updating, and refreshing. The rooms are clean and spacious, however lack any sort of modern feeling. Outside the grounds by the moving sidewalk that leads you to the Strip, are in bad shape. Garbage was visible every day as well as far too many cigarette butts. One of the moving sidewalks didn't work the entire time we were there, and had collected all kinds of rubbish and butts. (looked disgusting) Ev erything else was satisfactory, and we felt it was good value and a fantastic location for the money we paid.

This was my first time staying at the Ballys, but based on that trip, I'd definitely book it again! The room was spacious, comfortable and the hotel is an excellent location on the Strip - close for walking to anyplace else and with a monorail entrance out the back. It also had one of the most comfortable beds in any hotel I've stayed at in Vegas in the past. I highly recommend it - check in was easy (especially after a long flight that got in after midnight) and checking out via the in room TV was a breeze. Internet was extra, but that's typical for any hotel in Vegas. Still, wish they would just add it into the room, because that would have been perfect.

My request for a late checkout was denied. In spite of losses exceeding 1500$ in the casino, my total rewards card was not worh a cup of coffee in the "Java Hut". I will NEVER stay at Ballys again. Poor customer support.
