I have traveled to Las Vegas at least once a year for nearly twenty years, having stayed at many of the Strip hotels. But I keep coming back to Bally's. Why? The value for the price I pay is unmatched. No, I am not a high roller or "whale" by any stretch of the immagination, but I am a player and I do use my Total Rewards card. So, Bally's rewards me with unbeatable offers, and I always take them up on them! Some might say the hotel is dated. Sure, it's not the Wynn or Encore, but my south tower rooms are always clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. No, there are no jacuzzis in the room, nor even flat-screen TV's. But I don't go to Vegas to watch TV. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. Plus, the cleaning staff does a very good job and is always respectful of my privacy and schedule. The casino itself is exciting without being snooty (I'm talking to you Bellagio,Venitian and Wynn!) and offers all the great slots and table games--it's alive with action nearly all day, and most nights there is a great live band in the lounge. The casino floor is open and easily navigatable. The other great aspect of Bally's is its location: mid-Strip, connected to Paris; it's across the street from the fountains of Bellagio as well as Caesar's Palace; free shuttles take you to and from Rio; and it's within easy walking distances of Bill's, the Flamingo Hilton and Harrah's. Plus Bally's has its own monorail station. Perfect. The staff in all the shops and eateries are friendly and welcoming, and ask for your Total Rewards card to make sure you get credit for visiting them. While the buffet at Bally's is lacking, the buffet at nearby Paris is well worth the five-minute indoor walk. Even when the long "moving sidewalk" into and out of Bally's from the Strip is out of commision (which is actually a lot of the time...), the walk to and from Las Vegas Boulevard is quick and includes beautiful gardens and water features. Check-in is reliably quick, and check-out is simple. I highly recommend Bally's.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. My wife and I had a great time and the hotel was excellent from check-in to check-out. Rooms were quiet and clean, staff was great and we had an outstanding time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in Las Vegas on the strip.

When you want to come to Vegas for a couple of days and stay at a relatively cheap hotel but still be on the strip, Bally's is a worthwhile option. We had some friends that decided to do a Vegas wedding at Caesars. It took place during the memorial day weekend and the prices were jacked really high. We didn't feel like paying them and thought that staying nearby for a third of the price would be sufficient. Bally's offers easy access to Caesars by one the over-the-street bridges. It also has free shuttle service to the Rio and is a stop on the Vegas monorail if you don't feel like wearing down your feet. It's also connected to Paris, where you can up in the pseudo Eiffel tower. The casino itself is quite nice, with plenty of table games and a somewhat lively atmosphere. They also host the show "Jubilee"'. Where the women wear the feathers and put on a classic Vegas style show. They have a newly renovated spa and gym and cheap and quick restaurants for those on the go. Now let's talk about the accommodations. We got a room with two queen sized beds. It was huge, but very dated. I would venture to say that it would be a suite at most other hotels. It was very clean and had your basic amenities like an iron with board and toiletries. The tv was still a 25" tube, there were two seat-couches, a table and a dresser. The bathroom was a little bigger than normal and had a full sized mirror, which was a plus. I was a little disappointed at the lack of a coffee maker, but I could do without it. The room was less than luxurious, but that's what's to be expected when you decide to go cheap. And with all the money you saved, you'll have more to lose at the casinos.

We stayed in the North tower and our room was excellent. It was QUIET, which can be rare in a hotel, but we never heard any of our neighbors nor anyone in the hall. The staff was very friendly. We had a great time. We could walk to so many places. We also rented a car right from the sister property, Paris, so that was convenient when we wanted to go to Hoover Dam and Lake Meade. We ate at the buffet one morning, which was okay, but didn't seem worth the money we paid. We instead went to the Ellis Island breakfast one block behind the hotel. It was the old time steak and eggs breakfast for excellent price! It was worth the short walk. The new electronic craps game on the floor was great for those who are just learning! So many positives...I definitely recommend Bally's.
